Cheerleading
In cheer leading, I am a flier. That is where some people go up in the air and do stunts. I really like flying! Its just so much fun getting launched up into the air, and feeling the fall breeze on my face. You need to have a lot of muscle and pay a lot of close attention. Some other important roles in stunting are bases, and backs. the back stays in back of you and holds on to your stomach, then when you get launched the switch to your ankles. Also there are two bases and they just hold you up! I love cheer leading!

Horses
Horses!
I used to have a black and white horse named Oreo. Oreo was kept at my dad’s friend Mark’s farm. I used to get riding lessons every day by the instructor named Dori. Dori is a professional horse rider and she was an amazing coach. One day, we had to get rid of Oreo. My dad never told me why. I hope he is free somewhere roaming in the hills. I miss him a lot, because the last time I was riding him was when I was probably seven or eight years old. I will always love horses, but I will never look at a black and white little horse the same way ever again. Also my dad had a pony when he was younger. Riding horses is my passion.

Patriotism
Patriotism
By Rhiannon Wasley
Can you believe some people don’t think patriotism is important? I can’t believe it at all. Veterans show their love and compassion for their country by fighting in battles across the world, like the World Wars 1, and 2. My great grandfather fought in World War 2, and died. He and many other people die serving their countries, but they die with pride. Although many people think patriotism doesn’t matter anymore, I and several other Americans know it is important for our country.
Patriotism is important to America, because without it, we would not have as much land as we have now! Back in old times, America was just a little piece of land that the Christopher Columbus discovered. But when he found it, he saw that Native Americans were living on. They thought that it was a small piece of land, but realized it was huge! We are so lucky America has won several fights, battles, and wars. It’s all thanks to the caring veterans who serve their countries everywhere in the world.
While we are lucky to have so much land, have you realized how much trouble the veterans go through for America,
and the people here? They go to a place, fight, some get
Savvier injuries, and possibly lose their lives. Think about the people who were going to become veterans pretty soon, and then get hurt and don’t make it through the end. Think about their families, and friends. Think about how nice they are going off to somewhere on earth fighting
For something they believe in. Veterans are amazing people to look up
to. If you’re not going to go into the army, navy, marines, or anything else that would make you serve your country, you should still look up to the adults who do go into the army, and all the other places. Patriotism is
very important no matter what anyone else ever says.
