The Clique

While over 80% of schools in the US have clique issues with friends, Lisi Harrison wrote a novel that has to do with clique problems, called The Clique. There are four rich and snotty best friends slowly drifted apart from one another as the new girl comes to town. Although they all hated the new girl,
She tore them apart. It is easy to relate to, because being the new girl, you just want to fit in.

Although the new “friend” Claire is not alone, when she came to town, everybody hated her, because she wasn’t rich, and this happens to most every school, but this story was different. It was very realistic, as if this was a true story that really happened, because this does happen, every day. Claire was bullied, and that is what happens! Massie, Alisha, Kristen, and Dylan were best friends who did everything together and when Claire moved in, they made fun of her.

Even though the friends made fun of her, they became friends but there were a lot of backstabbing in that process! As I said before, this is a very realistic story, you would do anything to be popular if you just moved to a new place where everything is different, and that’s exactly what Claire did.

Throughout the book, I learned something. Even if you’re poor, you will still fit in, but only if you be yourself! That’s what Claire did, and now they are all friends!

Snow days

Whenever we have snow days, my dad and I go three wheeling. We have seven three wheelers, and I have my own so we can go together! My dad and I do this a lot in winter, because in our neighborhood, there is a huge hill that is so fun to ride on. This is a way I bond with my dad, and sometimes he even attaches a rope to his three wheeler and pulls me around on a sled! I live in a neighborhood that is no big, but not small, and it's near woods so it doesn't get plowed a lot which is a good thing for me!
